Indications:

Buccodental infections due to aerobic and anaerobic germs sensitive to spiramycin and metronidazole: Dental abscesses, stomatitis and aphthous ulcers, perimaxillar cellulitis, pericoronaritis, periodontitis and periodontal infections, pre- and post-operative prophylaxis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to imidazol derivatives or spiramycin.

Adverse reactions:

Digestive discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea; rare cases of rash. Vertigo, ataxia.

Warnings:

The treatment should be discontinued in case of ataxia, vertigo. -Do not use in the first trimester of pregnancy and during lactation. -Avoid alcoholic drinks during treatment. -Advise your physician if you have a history of blood dyscrasia. -Do not administer sulfiram simultaneously. -The dosage of warfarin is to be adapted when associated with metronidazole, Spiramycin.
