Indications:

1.Hyperacidity conditions that might lead to peptic ulcer disease. 2.Duodenal ulcer. 3.Reflux oesophagitis. 4.Gastric ulcer.

Contraindications:

1.Known hypersensitivity to lansoprazole. 2.Pregnancy and breast-feeding. 3.Severe renal impairment. 4.Infants.

Adverse reactions:

In general, lansoprazole treatment has been well-tolerated in both short-term and long-term trials. Body as a Whole :Abdominal Pain. Digestive System : Constipation, Diarrhea ,Nausea. Headache.

Interactions:

Studies have shown that lansoprazole does not have clinically significant interactions with other drugs metabolized by the cytochrome P450 system, such as warfarin, antipyrine, indomethacin, ibuprofen, phenytoin, propranolol, prednisone, diazepam, or clarithromycin in healthy subjects.

Warnings:

Special attention should be taken with: 1.In children: The efficiency and tolerance of the product have not been studied. 2.Hepatic failure: Do not exceed 30 mg per day. 3.Pregnancy: Although no teratogenic effects had been reported in animal experiments, it is not recommended to use lansoprazole during the first trimester. Prescription should also be avoided during the remaining months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary.
