Cough Suppressant Expectorant for the symptoms of coughs associated with: # Colds # Influenza # Bronchial Catarrh # Laryngitis (loss of voice) # Pharyngitis (sore throat)
This drug is contraindicated in the following cases: - Hypersensitivity to any component, - Respiratory failure, - Cough in asthmatic - Children under 15 years - Breastfeeding: Codeine passes into breast milk and some cases of hypotonia and respiratory pauses were described in infants after ingestion by mothers, supratherapeutic doses of codeine. Therefore, taking this medicine is cons-indicated during lactation. - In association with agonist-antagonist opioids (buprenorphine, nalbuphine, pentazocine). RECOMMENDED: Taking alcohol and other drugs containing alcohol (see Interactions) during treatment is recommended.
# This medicine may cause drowsiness or constipation. # Medicines which contain codeine may cause nausea, vomiting, spasm of the bile ducts (which may cause abdominal pain), euphoria (a feeling of happiness), hallucinations, lower urine volume, allergic reactions (such as rashes and facial swelling), fainting or dizziness (whihc may occur when you stand up), sedation,visual disturbances, or fast, slow or irregular heart beats. # Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you think Pulmo Bailly is causing you these or any other problems. # Always read the product information leaflet before using this product.
