Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any component. - Phenylketonuria due to the presence of aspartame.

Adverse reactions:

Some very rare allergic skin reactions have been reported.

Interactions:

The association of phloroglucinol with major analgesics such as morphine or its derivatives should be avoided because of their spasmogenic effect.

Warnings:

Pregnancy Studies in animals have shown no evidence of teratogenicity. In the absence of teratogenic effects in animals, an effect malformation in humans is not expected. Indeed, to date, the substances responsible for malformations in humans have proved teratogenic in animals during well-conducted studies on two species. In clinical analysis of a large number of exposed pregnancies apparently did not reveal any malformation or fetotoxic effect particularly phloroglucinol. However, only epidemiological studies would verify the absence of risk. Consequently, phloroglucinol may be prescribed during pregnancy if needed. Breastfeeding: In the absence of data, it is advisable to avoid using this medication during breastfeeding.
