Indications: Clioquinol topical is an antifungal and antibacterial medication. Clioquinol topical prevents fungus from growing on your skin. Clioquinol topical is used to treat skin infections such as eczema, athlete’s foot, and other fungal infections |

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the drug or iodine, hepatic damage or pre-existing optic neuropathy. |

Adverse reactions: Serious side effects of clioquinol topical use are unexpected. Stop using clioquinol topical and see your doctor if you experience unusual or severe blistering, itching, redness, peeling, dryness, swelling, or irritation of the skin. |

Interactions: Avoid using other topicals at the same time unless your doctor approves. Other skin medications may affect the absorption or effectiveness of clioquinol topical. |

Warnings: Do not use clioquinol topical if you have had an allergic reaction to it in the past. It is not known whether clioquinol topical will harm an unborn baby.
